The State of California recently enacted new storm water requirements for construction projects. Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) have been required for some time; however, newer regulations enacted by the State are now requiring SWPPP’s to be developed by a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD). In addition, construction sites are now required to have routine inspections and water sampling performed to show runoff meets water quality criteria. A SWPPP and its associated inspections are required for any project disturbing more than one acre of land during construction, regardless of parcel size and includes staging areas and any land stripped of vegetation.
We have the required certifications in place to stay compliant with the State’s regulations. In addition, we have developed internal processes to streamline these requirements to keep your project in compliance.
